Pronounced “FEEster”! Ryan is the lead videographer, the one you’ll see on your wedding day, and Jenn is the administrative coordinator, working closely with you throughout the planning process. We were married in Virginia in 2015 and are the proud parents of two sweet girls, Kyleigh and Madeline—our little “videographers in training.”
Throughout most of our marriage, we’ve had the privilege of working together in various capacities. In 2016, shortly after our wedding, we embarked on an incredible journey, touring over 30 states in an RV for a year as team leaders of an international children’s choir with the faith-based humanitarian organization, World Help. Following that year, Ryan continued his role as videographer and photographer for the organization, while Jenn remained a dedicated donor advocate. During this time, we were fortunate to meet inspiring individuals and hear deeply moving stories—both heartbreaking and uplifting—that reinforced our belief in the inherent purpose and immeasurable value of every person. In 2023, after the birth of our second daughter, we made the decision to transition to Ryan Feister Films full-time, specializing in Wedding Films, while continuing to stay engaged in humanitarian efforts around the world.
Ryan is the creative force behind every film we produce. Since 2017, he’s been a full-time videographer, photographer, and editor, with an initial focus on humanitarian and non-profit work before transitioning into weddings. His work has taken him across the United States and to over 20 countries, where he’s had the privilege of capturing deeply personal and inspiring stories. When he isn’t working, Ryan is tackling the never ending house projects, biking, recording music, getting married over and over again to mommy in pretend weddings organized by Kyleigh, or skateboarding (mostly falling) with the girls on their homemade skatepark!
With a background in humanitarian aid videography, I have developed a “run-and-gun” documentary style that emphasizes authenticity and real-life moments. At the same time, I have a passion for the dramatic and cinematic, which allows me to blend both styles in my wedding films. My focus is always on capturing your unique story and intimate moments, while delivering a visually stunning, cinematic experience.
I feel incredibly privileged to have traveled to numerous countries as a videographer and photographer, often visiting many of them multiple times. Among all the places I’ve been, Uganda stands out as the country where I’ve spent the most time—so much so that Jenn and I were once stranded there for several weeks! During our travels, we formed lasting friendships with many remarkable and inspiring people, allowing us to truly immerse ourselves in the culture. Not to mention the hotel we always stay at, serves my favorite breakfast—liver and kidney!
As a dad of two girls, father-daughter moments hold a special place in my heart. That said, I truly appreciate any part of your day that is filled with emotion and helps tell your unique story—whether it’s the first look, heartfelt letters, prayers, or similar moments. I also love the energy of a lively dance floor, especially when the DJ plays early 2000s punk songs! Mr. Brightside is always a crowd favorite.
Jenn brings a wealth of organizational expertise to our process. A former elementary teacher with a background in administration, Jenn is passionate about helping you bring your unique wedding vision to life. She’s detail-oriented and dedicated to ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience for you. When she’s not working with couples, she’s enjoying family time—making messes in the kitchen with her little princesses, sipping coffee brewed by Maddie, keeping her plants alive (sometimes!), or indulging in the latest crime drama.
We want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU for entrusting us with your story. We’re honored to be a small part of your journey and can’t wait to capture the memories you’ll cherish for a lifetime!
